Dr. Saud Anwar Co-Chair of the AMPI helps form the Community Police Liaison Committee (CPLC)

Dr. Saud Anwar Co-Chair of AMPI joins the local community and initiates a Community Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) in Connecticut. This CPLC will serve as a formal communication between local police and the Community members to increase understanding and share concerns. This is one way to bridge the trust deficit that has traditionally existed.

Dr. Saud Anwar helps the Federal Bureau of Investigation in identifying leads and helps develop a better understanding of the profile of the Time Square Bomber. Dr. Anwar shared 2 emails that were provided by a source close to Faisal Shehzad. These provide an insight on the changes in the mindset of the terror suspect.
